Robert's mum brought some chicken & pheasant eggs into our class.

They were in a special incubater.

The small eggs were pheasant eggs.

The large eggs were chicken eggs.

It takes 21-23 days to hatch.

 

 

 Water is added to maintain a constant humidity

 

 

 

 The eggs must be kept warm at 100 F

 

 

After hatching the chicken or pheasant must be kept warm in the incubater for a futher 2/3 days.

The new chickens eat crushed grain and drink water.
